Amy Potter’s practice emphasizes white collar criminal defense, False Claims Act cases, State Attorney General enforcement proceedings, complex civil litigation, and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Angeli & Calfo, Amy spent 18 years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Oregon, including two years as the Criminal Appellate Chief. During her tenure, she tried multiple jury trials, argued substantive motions, and handled dozens of appeals. In addition to handling her own cases, she assisted other prosecutors with complex motions and legals issues in their cases.

• Ongoing representation of major social media site in enforcement action brought by the Washington State Attorney General alleging consumer protection violations and unfair business practices.

• Ongoing representation of CEO of cryptocurrency business in wire fraud prosecution in the Northern District of California.

• Defense of Drug Enforcement Administration agent in state court manslaughter prosecution arising from on-duty death during surveillance operations. Successfully removed matter to federal court where case was dismissed.

• Representation of celebrity in arbitration proceedings arising from alleged breach of contract of product sponsorship agreement.
