

Kyle B. Dugan is a fierce advocate for his clients, focusing his practice on complex commercial litigation and business disputes. Kyle’s representations prior to joining Angeli & Calfo have spanned a wide variety of industries, including Fortune 50 technology companies, leading global financial services firms, mechanical contractors, Grammy-winning musicians, as well as individuals and small businesses. Kyle prides himself on being agile in pursuit of the best possible outcome for his clients.
Prior to joining Angeli & Calfo, Kyle was an Associate with Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Senior Counsel at Hicks Thomas, LLP in Houston, Texas.
Kyle attended Johns Hopkins University (B.S., Civil Engineering, 2009) and The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D., 2015). While at Cardozo, Kyle was an Associate Editor for the Moot Court Honor Society and a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Paul A. Crotty in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Kyle was also a finalist in Cardozo’s Monrad G. Paulsen Intramural Moot Court Competition in 2013.

Represented the State of North Dakota in a bench trial against the United States federal government concerning the Dakota Access Pipeline Protests, resulting in $27.8 million judgment in North Dakota’s favor.
Successful defense of mechanical and plumbing subcontractor in arbitration concerning construction work at a luxury high-rise hotel, including complete recovery for client on counterclaims totaling $34 million.
Achieved summary judgment in favor of Fortune 50 technology company in Lanham Act matter with alleged damages in excess of $15 billion.
Obtained complete jury verdict in favor of Fortune 50 technology company concerning alleged failure of enterprise software in $50 million lawsuit.
Represented children’s product manufacturer in cases across multiple jurisdictions related to alleged design defect in infant sleeper.
Overturned two separate improperly obtained $4 million judgments on behalf of publicly traded transportation logistics company and Central American financial and strategic advisory institution.
